This retreat is an invitation to slow down, soak in the rhythm of the coast, and experience Morocco through surfing, culture, and connection. Designed for beginners, intermediates, and advanced surfers alike, all levels are welcome. We’ll be staying in the vibrant village of Tamraght, fully immersed in local life, with the entire Malibu Surf House reserved exclusively for our Mamawata crew.

Set between the ocean and the mountains, Malibu Surf House is a warm, beautifully styled guesthouse inspired by traditional Moroccan design and laid-back beach cabins. With shared terraces, a rooftop with ocean views, social living spaces, and a refreshing pool, it’s the perfect home base to relax, connect, and recharge after long surf days.

Our days will revolve around the ocean. With Maryam as our local guide, surf coach, and cultural host, we’ll chase waves across the legendary right-hand point breaks of the Taghazout coastline. Mornings start with yoga and breakfast, followed by daily surf sessions in some of Morocco’s most iconic spots.

Between waves, we’ll experience the richness of Moroccan culture: sandboarding over golden dunes, camel rides at sunset, bonfires under the stars, coastal hikes, market visits, and a traditional tagine cooking class. We’ll also take a surf day trip to dreamy Imsouane and unwind in a traditional hammam for the ultimate reset.

Throughout the week, you’ll enjoy nourishing breakfasts, lunches, and dinners, plus a special surf and skate session, all shared with an incredible group of women.
